Eduardo F. de Araoz has been awarded with the prestigious C.J. McElroy award

Eduardo F. de Araoz receives the prestigious C.J. McElRoy Award from the Safari Club International (SCI).

Eduardo F. de Araoz has received numerous important awards throughout his career, but the U.S. award is the most difficult to achieve and the most important in the international hunting world. The award named after the SCI’s founder requires nominees to have demonstrated exemplary behavior in the hunting industry, as well as to have strong ties to SCI’s values.

Eduardo F. de Araoz’s first contact with the profession was during his youth, when he accompanied foreigners who were hunting in Spain. After co-founding Mundicaza, he acquired another company called Cazatur and after more than 40 years of experience in the hunting industry, professionalism and ethics, he has managed to become the second Spaniard to receive the award.

For Eduardo F. de Araoz, this profession is vocational and just a few people enter it to get rich. In all these years as a worldwide hunting consultant organizing big and small game hunting days, he affirms it’s difficult to remain as a reference in the sector, even before the Coronavirus crisis that prevented him from being awarded this prize in 2020.
